Before talking about this awesome family, I have an announcement: my full website will be going live tomorrow! Now that I’ve graduated, I am truly open for business. I’m very excited to reveal the full site and would love to hear what you think, so drop a line after the big reveal!
Now on with the main event!
This photo session was so much fun. We had originally scheduled it for the Saturday following Thanksgiving, but as the day approached, the weather report looked ominous: lots of cold! Cold and I aren’t really friends, so I checked with Holly and we moved the shoot up to Friday instead.
Then it started raining. After another phone call and some texts, we decided to push back by about an hour, then go for it.
God provided and the shoot was wonderful. Despite the soggy ground, the weather was great. Cloudy days are perfect for photography and the rain made everything look richer. We photographed in a pocket between showers and were in and out in a little over an hour. As I was taking the very last shots, we could feel the forecast cold front blow through. What an amazing feeling!
