Since my last blog post, summer turned into fall. I don't think the central Texas weather got the memo quite yet.

At the end of August, I had the privilege of photographing for a foster and adoption ministry. The organization is revamping their website and I can't wait to see the photos in use. Stay tuned for a possible blog post! Until then, here's one of my favorite images from our shoot.

Two things I've photographed multiple times in the past few months: dogs and tea.

Any James Herriot fans out there? This image is so reminiscent of his books to me.

I'm not entirely sure why this photo makes me so happy, but I love it!

Shoutout to my sister Leighann and her business, Koinonia Dogs. In all the photos, you can bet she was standing just behind me dangling a treat near the lens while I say something like, "Can you bring his head down just a bit," or, "His eyes need to look into the camera," or the favorite, "Hold it!"

If you need a trainer, she's your girl!
