What a fun, challenging, growth-filled project this was. My time in photography school (2013 - 2015) was period of growth, but mostly in a technical, rather than creative, sense: how to take a photograph, the ins and outs of editing software, how to keep track of your images, etc.
This photo a day project really helped me explore editing and the creative side of photography, as opposed to the mechanics of taking a photo. A photographer friend of mine recommended I play around with pre-sets (essentially editing recipes) and that has totally changed editing for me! Added (and unexpected) benefit, the time I spend editing is shorted - always a plus!
This project has pushed me further along the road to a photography style I'm contented in. Thank you for joining me on the journey!
