Johnny and his mom had one request for his senior session: a piano.
I’ll admit, I was a little anxious about finding a suitable location. Grand pianos can be hard to come by in the wild and I didn’t want our photos to be restricted to a dimly lit room with an upright piano that had seen better days. I contacted a friend of mine for ideas and she reminded me that Southwestern University has a piano in their student union building (thanks Hannah!). I scouted it out and sent photos to Johnny and his mom, wanting to be sure they were okay the wood tone rather than the standard glossy black. They gave the green light and to Southwestern we went!
I was so happy we could capture Johnny doing what he loves best.
